WHO WE ARE
Backed by Years of Experience and a Genuine Passion for Doing Right by Your Cattle

In 2019, Keith and Tessa Bowman acquired Wilroads Feed Yard in Dodge City, Kansas, and set out to transform the property into something exceptional — expanding the operation to its current 46,000-head custom feed yard capacity. The growth brought with it significant upgrades across the entire facility, including new pens, a modernized feed mill featuring two automated 24×48 flakers, expanded grain and silage storage, and state-of-the-art computerized feed batching. A new shipping and receiving facility, processing barn, and hospital were also added to round out a truly full-service operation.
Overseeing the day-to-day operations is Feed Yard Manager Travis McGuire, whose hands-on leadership ensures the yard runs at its best from sunup to sundown.
Every improvement and every decision made at Wilroads has been guided by one goal: to give cattle and customers every possible advantage — maximizing performance, optimizing grid value, and driving down cost of gain to put more profitability back in the hands of the people we serve.
Hands-on leadership. Facility investment. Customer-focused cattle care.
Driven by Generations
At Wilroads Feedyard, everything we do is fueled by a multi-generational love for the cattle industry and a deep respect for the land and animals that sustain it. The Bowman family has built a legacy grounded in hard work, integrity, and a genuine passion for raising quality cattle — values that have been passed down and strengthened with each generation. That same sense of responsibility drives our commitment to promoting the long-term sustainability of the cattle industry, because we believe it's our duty to preserve and strengthen this way of life for the generations that will follow in our footsteps.
